Scope of Work

This project involved professional drywall repair and surface restoration in a Back room office where previous cabling and conduit access points had been removed or altered. Multiple areas of the wall were patched, prepped, and finished to restore a clean, professional appearance prior to any final painting.

    1. Drywall Patching:
      • Patched multiple wall areas, including two large rectangular sections and several smaller spots where holes had been previously cut for cable management or other utility purposes.
      • Installed drywall backing where necessary to support patch placement.
      • Applied joint compound in multiple layers, sanding between coats for a smooth, flush finish.
    2. Hole Sealing and Cable Re-routing:
      • Cleaned up and sealed excess gaps around remaining cable holes to minimize dust and provide a clean look.
      • Ensured existing cables were rerouted or left accessible where necessary for ongoing system use.
    3. Surface Preparation:
      • Smoothed patched surfaces and prepared walls for painting.
      • Ensured uniform texture across repaired areas to blend seamlessly with surrounding wall surfaces.
      • Cleaned surrounding work area and removed debris resulting from sanding and patching process.

Outcome: The wall repairs were successfully completed, leaving a smooth and professional finish throughout the room. All previously damaged and exposed sections of drywall were fully patched, sanded, and prepped, significantly improving the room’s appearance and functionality. The repaired surfaces now offer a clean foundation with cable penetrations neatly managed to reduce clutter and maintain a tidy environment.

The space is now safer, visually cleaner, and ready for continued use or further aesthetic updates.
